Name - AJ
Occupation - Royal Marines Section Commander
What experience have you had with gym XT? I have only really been involved in XT over last 2 years. 1st year I was mostly concentrating on a 350 bike race I was doing so my XT wasn't great but been a lot more successful over the last year.
What makes Fitbrit appealing to you? Fitbrit appeals to me duevto the prizes and sponsorship they offer. Fitbrit is also a very short circuit which suits me better. I train a lot at 8-15 mins 80-90% MHR.
Where do you think the importance of training is in Fitbrit? Personally I think Fitbrit is won on the bike. On life fitness bikes its all about RPM. In both years 2013, 2014 I was holding 130-140 RPM managing to take 20-30 seconds out of people. That just comes with work.

What advice would you give for a first timer? My advice would be to know a time your aiming for. Know what splits you want to Row, cycle and what speed you run at before you go. And more importantly enjoy it.
What do you remember about FitBrit 2014 I you remember about Fitbrit 2014? Not a lot to be honest. With a competition that is that short concentration is everything, so I try to block everything out. I can remember feeling sick half way through the run tho.
Who do you think will win this year men's event? Well I'd like to say me but unfortunately I won't be there as I'm not in the UK. I really want Nuno to win because I think he deserves it the most. Mark Bathurst will be up there too, he is quick and if he just worked on his run would beast it.
