Squigs

I am a Police Sergeant based in Kent and I live with my partner Darren. I have the kind of job that needs some kind of release otherwise I would explode and that is why I keep fit. I compete in a lot of road races and have achieved a few PB's. For relaxation, I try to play the guitar and I read a lot of crime novels with Karin Slaughter being my favourite author.

I was persuaded to start Xtraining by Ben Stroud who saw me in the gym doing the same old routine day in and day out.

Since X training, my workouts have become varied and interesting and now, instead of wondering whether I should go to the gym or eat that last bit of chocolate cake....the gym wins everytime.

The day after the 2008 Fitness xtreme event, I was running and cycling around Fowlmead Country Park in Deal competing in my first Duathlon..Did I hurt during and afterwards???? Yes!!! Did I ask myself why I was doing it??? Many times..Did I finish?? Too right.
